Seismic Disaster Tracker: Flask dashboard visualizing real-time earthquakes
The project provides a local Flask server that streams live USGS earthquake feeds and displays them on a Cesium‑powered 3D globe with overlays for stations, fault lines and disaster zones. It bundles a desktop build option for offline use and includes safety‑summary visualizations to aid situational awareness. Designed for researchers, emergency responders, or enthusiasts needing quick, GPU‑friendly earthquake visualizations. Compared to generic map viewers, it offers specialized seismic overlays and a lightweight “Safe GPU” mode.
