GUI tool that generates distortion maps for spherical mirror reflections
The project lets artists and designers turn any 2D image or text into a distortion map that looks correct when reflected in a spherical mirror. It uses Python, OpenCV and Tkinter to compute inverse ray‑tracing and offers three projection modes. Users adjust physical parameters (camera height, mirror radius, projection size) and export high‑resolution PNGs for printing. It fills a niche for physical‑world optical installations where existing tools lack this specific spherical anamorphism capability.
