Automated pipeline that turns economic data into presentation charts
The project processes raw macroeconomic data (WEO, Bloomberg, etc.) using Python scripts driven by a CSV manifest, outputting PNG, SVG, and interactive HTML charts for IMF Fiscal Monitor slides. It automates chart sizing, labeling, and source attribution, ensuring consistent, repeatable graphics. Designed for analysts preparing fiscal presentations, it saves time compared to manual chart creation and offers a transparent, scriptable workflow. While focused on a specific outreach deck, the pipeline can be adapted for similar economic reporting tasks.
