Databricks cost‑optimization app delivering in‑workspace usage reports
The project reads Databricks system billing and query‑history tables in‑place, aggregates usage, and sends only summary statistics to the Airbrx API. It provides a Streamlit UI for interactive reporting and a scheduled job that recomputes the analysis automatically. It targets Databricks admins and users who need cost visibility without moving raw data outside the workspace. Unlike generic BI solutions, it runs entirely within the workspace, respects security policies, and offers built‑in optimization recommendations.
